Day 11 - March 11th

The ride to Surat was bumpy, but it was worth it. For breakfast we went to a local restaurant named Jani Farshan House. We all tried their garlic crisp, which was cooked with traditional spices. After walking, we found the Ambika Niketan Temple. This temple was very religious and is dedicated to Goddess Asthabhuja Ambika. Made in 1969, this temple celebrates Navratri every year. Unfortunately this festival is held during October instead of March. However, we still had fun admiring the temple's amazing architecture. After that, we traveled to the Dumas Beach and relaxed. The black sand was outstanding and unlike anything we'd seen before, and this combined with calm waves allowed for our great trip to come to a fantastic close.

Finally, we got back to Mumbai by bus.
